Local Authority / regeneration projects often require the demolition of redundant factories and disused buildings. More often than not these buildings have been left to rot and have been subject to vandalism and fly tipping. Prior to demolition the buildings have to be cleared of any hazardous waste that may have been left from the buildings previous usage or waste that has accumulated during the time spent unoccupied. All waste must be disposed though the correct waste streams.
The removal and disposal of hazardous material coupled with the intricate demolition of dilapidated structures, often along party walls, is accompanied with a careful and considerate approach to the control of noise and dust due to the close proximity of the work to local residential and business areas. One of the key elements to the success of these projects is Connell Brothers flexible approach which aims to reduce and minimise the environmental impact on the local community.
