Connell Brothers Limited (CBL) hold an HSE issued Asbestos Removal License. We have the “In-House” skills, expertise, and resources to undertake both small and large-scale asbestos removal projects.

Connell Brothers Limited plan, manage and control the whole asbestos removal process ensuring works are carried out to the highest standard in full compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, NFDC Industry Guidance for Non – Licensed work with asbestos-containing materials within a demolition or refurbishment environment, and all other current / relevant Health and Safety Legislation.

It is a legal requirement for Building Owners / Duty Holders to have an Intrusive asbestos “refurbishment and demolition asbestos survey” carried out on a building prior to demolition. The “refurbishment and demolition asbestos survey” will identify the presents of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM’s) within the building however it is unable to guarantee that all ACM’s within have been identified. ACM’s such as Asbestos Insulation Board (AIB) shuttering and packers may be concealed within the fabric of the building and will only be uncovered during physical demolition works.

Connell Brothers Limited is both an Asbestos Removal and a Demolition Contractor. By appointing Connell Brothers Limited the Client’s risk associated with the discovery of unknown ACM’s during the demolition phase is reduced. By controlling all elements of the works in-house and having no reliance on 3rd party contractors, Connell Brothers Limited can mitigate potential programme delays and associated costs.
