Connell Brothers Ltd was awarded the contract in February of this year for the demolition of the East Block of the Parkwood building at Blackpool Victoria by Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The three-storey building has been derelict since 2015 and was no longer fit for purpose. Further to CBL’s successful completion of 1st first phase of the East Block, the team has also been awarded the 2nd phase involving demolition of the West Block which is anticipated to commence this month.
