Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust has appointed Connell Brothers Ltd as Principal Contractor to demolish the Kennet Category C Prison in Maghull, Liverpool.
Works are already underway with the demolition expected to reach completion by May 2024.
Following the demolition, the prison site will be landscaped as part of Maghull Health Park’s development.
