Connell Brothers recently sponsored George Blagden of Salford Council for his “Town Twinning Trek” from leafy Eccles all the way to Narbonne in France. As much as George would have enjoyed the trip to France, the walk was actually simulated in Salford.
He walked 732 miles proudly wearing one of our Connell Brother’s polo shirts each day over the 10 week duration and lost over 2.5 stone in the process, well done George!
George set out on this great expedition around Salford with the aim to raise money for NHS Staff, Care and Key Workers to be able to take a fully paid break away from home, at the Salfordian Hotel in Southport. This is a thank you for all their hard work during the Covid19 pandemic.
